Join us for a conversation that unpacks and reaches beyond labels in order to nurture the kids we have.

Topic | How to Grow the Kids We Have: Preparing the ground for a good year at school

When | Sunday 9/25, 2:30 – 4:30pm

Where | Stillwater Public Library, Margaret Rivers Conference Room on the Upper Level, 224 Third St. North

Sometimes fixed mindsets aren’t found in kids, but do emerge as pre-conceived ideas or barriers in the adults around them. This seems particularly true concerning kids whose abilities exceed what’s typical among age-level peers, are high-achieving, 2E, or identified as gifted.

We’ll explore essential ways to support kids’ learning and answer questions about how to help them grow into the people they are becoming — academically, socially, and emotionally. Download the flyer (.pdf) in color or grayscale.
